Due to public health recommendations regarding the Coronavirus, Mill Race Center will be closed for all senior programs and services, including the CRH fitness center and CRH wellness classes, until June 14, 2020. We plan to reopen Monday, June 15, 2020.
We mailed out our newsletter today. Inside the newsletter is a pink piece of paper listing an update about our opening on June 15. There will be a very limited class schedule for the remaining of June. Each class will be limited on the size and all must preregister for each class by calling MRC at 812-376-9241. Everyone will be required to wear a mask, for the protection of others, and may get their temperature taken upon entrance. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building. Please, stay home if you do not feel well or have any symptoms of the Coronavirus.
Even as other sectors of the economy may begin to open, the threat of COVID-19 to our membership is just as serious as it was when we originally closed the Center. It has been determined that people over 65, especially those with underlying health conditions, are most at-risk, and so the management and board of directors will follow Governor Holcomb’s Back on Track plan which allows senior centers to re-open on June 14th. We encourage you to take advantage of the program and information options that are available here.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we make our way through these challenging times.
