Silver Strings Dulcimer Class
Kara's Silver Strings is a user-friendly way to learn to play the dulcimer even if you have never played an instrument before. You don't have to read music, or have any experience playing an instrument to be able to sound great playing. Our lessons provide everything you need, including the dulcimer. Beginner (book 1) - Oct. 2-Nov. 6 Thursdays at 10:30AM (beginners); FREE Feel free to retake this class as many times as you wish. You will pick up new things and gain confidence in your playing. CLUE at Mill Race Center
The Mill Race Center version of the classic detective game. Get your thinking cap on and participate in this fun game and work on your Intellectual Wellness. The game will begin on Monday, September. 29. Final guesses will be due Wednesday, October 29 the chosen winner will be selected on Friday, October 31. Object: Mr. Boddy apparently the victim of foul play is found in one of the rooms at Mill Race Center. Suspects bio’s will be posted in MRC. To win, you must determine the answers to these three questions: Who done it? In what room did it occur?
Arthritis Discussion with Bart Hudson
Thurs., Oct. 30 at 1:00PM Arthritis is a disorder that affects most people in one way or another. Is it solely due to the aging process or are there other factors that we can control to mitigate its effects? Learn about the different types of arthritis and what causes them and what you can do to help manage your arthritis and even prevent it from worsening. We will also discuss advanced arthritis and options for treatment including conservative management to total joint replacement.
Fall Into Fitness Challenge

Pick up a Fall Into Fitness challenge sheet in the center and start now. Each month that you have completed at least 12 days of workouts fill out a form in the MRC office and you will be entered into our monthly drawing for a $20 gift card to Nifty Beat.
