Mill Race Center will be hosting Senior Expo Friday, August 15 Free & open to the community. There will be no regular programs held that day. Fitness Center will be open as usual no classes.

Celebrate Shark Week
July 21-25 Learn about sharks all week and participate in beach themed activities. We will also celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the movie JAWS. Special themed treats and activities throughout the week. Look for hidden sharks to be entered for a prize at end of week. July 21 - JAWS Movie at 2PM & 4:30PM (popcorn) July 22 - Beach themed wreath (must register) July 23 - Hit to win it Putt-Putt at 12PM in lounge; Soul Surfer Movie at 3PM July 24 - Beach themed bottle craft (lounge) at 1PM July 25 - Special themed treats
National Hot Dog Day
Wednesday, July 16 Starting at 11:30AM until sold out In honor of National Hot Dog Day we will be selling a hot dog meal deal at the center. If you are participating in activities at the center plan on eating lunch or just come for lunch. Meal deal is $5 and will include: Hot Dog, bun, bag of chips, and cookie. Free lemonade and water will be served.
Attorney General Scam Class
Thurs., August 28 1:00PM FREE Ask the experts! This presentation will cover some of the services the office of the attorney general (OAG) offers. This includes consumer protection, scam prevention, unclaimed property, and more. Take home collateral such as educational material and swag will also be provided. Please register in the MRC office.
Sock Hop
WED., AUGUST 27 6:00PM $20 per Ticket Let’s go to the HOP… Enjoy a delicious meal from Blackerby’s Hanger and great Rock & Roll music by the Tune-o-matics! All proceeds will benefit Mill Race Center. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Mill Race Center business office.
